Collaborative Family Law
At Knights Law Professional Corporation – we believe that the vast majority of family law matters should be resolved outside of court. As a result, we recommend the Collaborative Law process for most family law matters.
What is Collaborative Family Law?
Collaborative family law is an alternative dispute resolution process where couples voluntarily work together to resolve their legal issues without going to court and through the assistance of collaborative family lawyers. This process also includes collaborative professionals such as financial specialists and/or social workers. This process begins through a mutual agreement between both parties that they endeavour to resolve their conflicts respectfully and with minimal conflict. From there a separation agreement is drafted that both parties agree to.
